Jerry Brown to sign Dream Act for undocumented college students, Anthony York reports from Sacramento.

I don’t support this. I’m all for immigration and diversity but I don’t think people who don’t pay taxes or contribute to the state financially should have access to state help for college. Cal State tuition just went up another 10% across the board. Their should shouldn’t be allocated funds in the budget for this. Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger vetoed similar legislation while he was in office; one of the few good things he did. Money should be at least spread to students who live here legally. If you go through all the proper channels and become an American citizen more power to you, I know that is a tough battle so you deserve the benefits of it. But, not undocumented individuals, not in this tight situation we are in.

Every time I see this I just cringe.my mom works 7 days a week to put her only child through college and pays extremely high taxes in California and now this.I can’t even speak on it anymore.smh
